First of all I would like to thank Finders Keepers for the tickets to preview the Australian Fashion Labels show. It was amazing! Sadly, I arrived late and missed the VIP Experience, boo.

It was my first ever fashion show and the experience was amazing – the music and feeling the base, the atmosphere and once the show started, you couldn’t keep your eyes off! I took a friend and the entire time, we kept pointing and awing at the majority of the clothes. I think we got the mannerisms right?

I wish I had taken more photos that weren’t so blurry so I could post them up for all of you! My favourite labels of the night were Cameo and Finders Keepers. I loved nearly every piece and what I was excited most about was Keepsake’s Latitude Collection. The entire show was simple and beautiful, just what I love to see. I can’t wait til they hit stores!

I must say though, it was a touch cookie to dress for the occasion, tricky. What I wanted to wear was out of my budget and what I thought of second hasn’t even arrived yet, I’m still waiting for it and what I finally wore, I will be posting up soon!

I was so happy from the experience this time around; I wonder what it would be like the next time and because this experience was so amazing, I am definitely dreaming about Fashion Week in Milan, Paris and New York - maybe one day!

Hello Spring, Hello September

Hello September! You have been amazing these past few days and it’s horrible that I can’t enjoy you while I’m inside, boo! It has been an insane couple of weeks as of late and I apologise immensely for my absence but I have been busy!

A couple of weeks ago I played stylist and helped 2 good friends of mine find a suit for the formal and for a job interview. It was fun and happy to have had that experience. It was one day after the other and on the Saturday, I went into work early and straight away went into the city. My friend now bffl introduced me to Harrolds and I died and went to designer heaven! We both fell in love with a $2,000 suit and of course being us, we were followed throughout the store. Our eyes wouldn’t have been wider!

What also came a few days ago was VFNO! Oh how fun it was! I purchased a VFNO tee the day before with the help of a good friend of mine and I slapped myself for not wearing it that night! Everyone look fabulous and the shopping is always fun! I can’t wait til next year.

On another awesome note, I won the Finders Keepers instagram competition and won 2x tickets to the Australian Fashion Labels runway show at MBFFS! I was at work and I literally jumped up and down like a crazy person, I have never won anything in my life! Of course I’m excited and happy and hope to meet and see people there! (I hope I don’t scare other bloggers if I bump into you!)

I think this month so far as been good, I’m not sick, I’m getting around to do hip hop classes (oh yes! I’m that bad Asian in the back!) and I’m also able to catch up with friends and I guess, find little inspirations here and there for the blog!
